The report documented the community’s condition in each key area, making it possible to track progress in these area.

A project of the Reinvestment Fund and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
The Reinvestment Fund is a national non-profit focused on building wealth and opportunity for low-income communities and low and moderate income individuals. In May, 2016, it announced along with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation it had selected Akron to take part in a new initiative. It produced a Market Value Analysis of Akron, providing public officials and the private sector the information to help promote sustainable growth.
On the Table-Impact Report
In October of 2017, the Akron Community Foundation was a convener of a citywide conversation, bringing thousands of people together across the city to share a meal and have a conversation about meaningful ideas with the goal of strengthening the community. The impact of that day was analyzed in this report.
Planning to Grow Akron
Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan’s administration examined the city’s existing housing stock, providing a framework to develop strategies for growth and investment in the city’s neighborhoods.
